Teaching
the Table Setting
(During "Team Time")
Use the following summary to teach "Beverages."
1.
The coffee cup, saucer, and spoon are usually brought after the meal.
If they are set, however, they are placed
to the right of the setting. See Figure 3b, page 100.
2.
Ask a student to set the basic setting. The student should place the
coffee cup handle where it may be reached easily by the diner.
3.
Avoid crunching ice, tapping on your glass, stirring loudly, or
playing with the straw. Keep your hands in your lap when you are not
eating or drinking.
Opening

God to guide your conversation.

Ephesians 4:29
Ask
a student to read the verse from the Bible (or on page 26 of the workbook).

lesson today.
"Mini
Mint" Skit
Perform the skit with a team leader and rolls of breath mints. Note: Say
breathly "H" sounds.
